ADVENTURE AWAITS

Camp Kno-Koma
July 6-12, 2008

Camp Kno-Koma 2008 will be held at Camp Virgil Tate (a nice, quiet rural setting only 15 miles from Charleston, WV).  From dawn's first light, and while the dew still glistens on the rhododendron, the campers will find themselves actively involved and delighted by the numerous activities which await.

As the sun disappears into a blanket of stars, campers find themselves with new friends gathered around a story-telling campfire. This is camp life where every moment of each day becomes a special memory to cherish for years to come.

SAFE PASSAGE

The physicians, nurses, paramedics, dieticians and other medical support staff will let Mom and Dad rest easier and have peace of mind during their camper's seven (7) day wilderness excursion.

These health professionals realize the need for close medical supervision, and they make it their #1 priority, so the camper can make having fun their #1 priority.

Camp Kno-Koma provides an unmatched opportunity for learning and fun. Surrounded by counselors and other kids with diabetes, campers are freed from the feelings of being different and are able to enjoy one of childhood's great pleasures: summer camp. Here are some camper tips and parent tips to help both camper and parent make the most of the adventure.
