I would like to ask you whether you would like to be part of this year’s Camp and future Camp’s to come?  If so, you will be pleased to know that we have a Leadership in Training (LIT) program.  We are looking for young adults, ages 16 thru 17, who want to be future counselors, role models and leaders within their community in the area of diabetes. This will be an extremely competitive program, but very rewarding.   A maximum of eight trainees will be selected.  We are looking for trainees that are optimistic, energetic, responsible and mature.  Our selection will be based on your completed application (click here for the application) and your reference letters.  You have an option to either answer the essay questions on paper or submit an audition video (similar to what candidates for the "Survivor" TV show need to complete. Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2008.  You will be notified whether or not you were selected by the end of April.
